About the Grower:
Kaizen — a Japanese word meaning continuous improvement — represents the philosophy of ongoing refinement and simplicity across all areas of life: personal, family, social, and professional.

With this purpose in mind, Marcelo Pereira Lima Verde, an electronic engineer from ITA, and his wife Sueli de Castro Bernardes, a psychiatrist, renamed their inherited Fazenda Colônia Agrícola to Fazenda Kaizen.

Together with their sons Guilherme and Henrique, they focus on producing specialty coffees. Their team and consultants are dedicated to effective management and the best agricultural practices to ensure full sustainability — environmental, economic, and social.

The farm holds certifications including Rainforest Alliance and Regenagri for Regenerative Agriculture.
